Insight Credit Union

Andrew General Contractors performed the 1,750 SF design-build renovation for Insight Credit Union in historic downtown DeLand. The structure was built in 1929 and our work was nominated for an adaptive reuse award by the Historic Preservation Board. The brickwork was selected to match the historic standards for the City of DeLand. New aluminum-framed windows and aluminum awnings that create passive shading combined with clerestory windows above create a truly stunning exterior transformation. The interior utilizes the same brickwork to create an interior feature wall and has been updated with architectural wood ceilings and modern pendant lighting.
